(Meth)acrylate is a chemical notation which indicates that a compound has either an acrylate (CH2=CHCOO-) or a methacrylate (CH2=CMeCOO-) group.
(Meth)acrylate should not be confussed with a methacrylate, (meth)acrylate is a broader term which encompasses methacrylates.
