Alban Institute is a religious training organization for Protestant congregations in the United States. It had a publishing division and affiliated with Duke University. It was founded by Loren Mead. In 2014, plans to close it were announced.[1]

Publisher Rowman & Littlefield purchased its publishings, works on church governance, leadership, and development written with editorial and oversight from Duke University.[1] Duke Divinity School took over the organization after its 40 year independent run ended amidst financial difficulties.[2][1]
