George W. Moore (November 9, 1854 - March 14, 1920) was an American Missionary Association official. He lectured. He married Ella Sheppard Moore (February 4, 1851 - June 9, 1914). They were prominent residents of Nashville, Tennessee. She was part of the Fisk Jubilee Singers and accompanist.[1][2]


George Sheppard Moore, a doctor, was their son.[3] They also had a son Clinton.[4]

He died March 14, 1920 and was buried in Nashville City Cemetery two days later.[5][6]
