Kokrokoo Charities Foundation is a social initiative established by Kwami Sefa Kayi, the presenter of Peace FM’s Kokrokoo Morning Show. Its purpose is to identify and address critical social needs in Ghana and to help resolve emerging development challenges.[1]

Background[edit]

The foundation operates as a fundraising platform to gather resources and funds to support the needs identified through the Kokrokoo Morning Show.[2] Kwami Sefa Kayi, a radio presenter and social activist, seeks to find solutions to social problems in Ghana and encourages public participation, including contributions from the diaspora.

Project 100 Incubators[edit]

A current focus of the foundation is "Project 100 Incubators," which aims to procure 100 incubators for health facilities across Ghana by the end of 2017. This project intends to support maternal and child health.[3][4]

Vision[edit]

The vision of Kokrokoo Charities Foundation is to foster socially responsive and collaborative communities that address development challenges in Ghana.[5]

Mission[edit]

The mission of the foundation is to mobilize resources and expertise to improve the quality of life in Ghana.[6] It focuses on developing solutions to social and economic challenges, with an emphasis on achieving Good Health and Well Being, which aligns with Goal 3 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).[7]
