Thomas M. Fisher is an American lawyer and Solicitor General of Indiana.

Biography[edit]

Fisher received a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Wabash College, and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. After law school, Fisher served as a law clerk to Judge Michael Stephen Kanne of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He then worked in private practice in Washington, D.C. and Indianapolis. In February 2001, he became special counsel in the office of the Indiana Attorney General. Fisher was appointed Solicitor General of Indiana in 2005.[1]
