Veera Dheera Sooran (also marketed as Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. U. Arun Kumar and produced by HR Pictures. The film stars Vikram in the titular role, alongside S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu (in his Tamil debut), Dushara Vijayan and Siddique.
The film was officially announced in October 2023 under the tentative title Chiyaan 62, as it is the 62nd film for Vikram, known popularly as Chiyaan, as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in April 2024. Principal photography began the same month. The film will have music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography handled by Theni Eswar and editing by Prasanna GK.

In early October 2023, S. U. Arun Kumar, who gained recent popularity from the success of Chithha (2023), was reported to feature Vikram in the lead role for his next directorial.[2] Riya Shibu's HR Pictures, which funded Mumbaikar and Thugs (both 2023), made a public announcement on 27 October through their social media accounts, with a promotional teaser. G. V. Prakash Kumar and Theni Eswar were chosen to score the music and handle the cinematography respectively.[3][4] The title Veera Dheera Sooran was announced on 17 April 2024.[5]
Filming[edit]
DT Next reported that principal photography would begin with the first schedule in March 2024 in Tiruttani.[6] However, it began on 17 April 2024.[5]
Music[edit]
The music and background score is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, in his maiden collaboration with Arun; fourth with Vikram after Deiva Thirumagal (2011), Thandavam (2012) and Thangalaan.[3]
