Русский: 4 августа 2017 г. в г. Мирном Республика Саха (Якутия) произошло затопление огромного карьера (525 м в глубину, 1200 м в ширину), где открытым способом добывали алмазы с 1957 по 2004 гг. Скопившаяся на дне гигантского котлована вода неожиданно хлынула в выработки. В тот момент под землей находился 151 рабочий. Спаслись 143 человека, восемь горняков спасти не удалось, рудник затопило. Данное фото сделано 21 мая 2022 г. около 11 часов вечера. С момента затопления карьера прошло почти 5 лет....
