English: The former Tangrong Brick Kiln at Sankuaicuo was originally a tile factory which was established in 1899 by the Japanese. It was the first brick kiln in the Dagou area. The latest technology was then introduced to this kiln and after two decades or so, the kiln's Brick production accounted for about 70% in the industry in Taiwan.

Almost all bricks used in important projects in southern Taiwan, such as the Kaohsiung City Hall, the Women Patriots ' Club House, Wude Temple at Hamasen, and Wude Temple at Cishan, were supplied by this kiln because the trademark of TR spoke for its guaranteed quality.

After the war, the Taiwan Renga first turned into a state-owned factory and then was sold to Tangrong Ironworks, a private company. However, after the company's financial crisis in 1957, the Ministry of Economic Affairs acquired the factory. As technology evolved and The market shifted, Tangrong invested in new production methods so that it could produce heat-resistant bricks which were a critical industrial material. during the period of rapid economic growth, this kiln brought in lucrative profits for Tangrong, but, eventually, the entire kiln Was shut down in 1985. This was due to rising labor costs and environmentalism, but its administrative office continued to operate until 2002.
