中文（臺灣）：早期林家花園為第一代主人林文欽先生為安養其母親羅太夫人而建造，目前位於明台高中的萊園，是座孝親之園，早期園中有12景，五桂樓為其最重要建築，據考證，五桂樓最早建於1887年，初稱「步蟾閣」，是閩南梢燕尾格局的兩層木造建築，一樓為客廳，二樓為羅太夫人起居室。
