Summary

Description
English: 1-9 St Leonard's Place, York

An effective composition, a curving nine-house terrace of three-storey houses, continuous cast-iron balcony (SE6052 : Detail of 1-9 St Leonard's Place, York), emphases on its ends and centre. Built c1834 to the designs of John Harper. Grade II* listed.

York City Council moved out in 2013, around the time this photo was taken, and the plan appears to be convert into flats, considerably more than the nine dwellings that it originally provided.
