Summary

Description
English: Illustration of Daniel Stråhle's geometric method for generating the sounding lengths of strings in an irregular tuning with twelve pitches per octave that is close to equal temperament. Line segment MR represents the string length of the lowest sounding pitch, MP the pitch one octave higher, and the points labeled 2 through 12 the endpoints for the pitches between them.
