Summary

Description
English: 1969 AMX by AMC (American Motors Corporation). This is one of the official pace cars used in the Pikes Peak race on 29 June 1969. There were 12 (perhaps only 10 according to some sources) of these AMX Pace and Courtesy cars that were used to practice by racers the week prior to the race up the mountain. All had the 390 "Go-Pac" option and were finished in white with red stripes and red interiors. The picture was taken at the AMC show in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
