   C17 mid. 2 storeys, attic and basement, with projecting 3-storey wings.
   Formerly one house, divided C18 and new doorcase inserted. Red brick
   walls. Moulded eaves cornice bowed over central round-headed 1st floor
   window. Old tile roof. 3 dormers (hipped). 5 windows first floor, 2
   windows 2 doors and central C19 late rectangular bay. Door cases have
   engaged Doric columns entablature and open moulded pediment. First floor
   string course. Original sash windows with glazing bars, segmental keystone
   heads. Six-panel door with interlaced fanlight. Said to have beenoccupied
   by James II when Duke of York. This house forms the south terminal feature
   of St. Thomas Street.
