1. Since it is now 2011, hasn't the cut-off year for public domain become 1964, the year of their publication?
2. Local English Wiki allows fair use
3. No free or public domain images have been located.
4. The image serves as the primary means of visual identification of the book(s) under discussion
5. The image is of lower resolution than the original cover and partially obscured. In particular, copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the book.
6. The image does not limit the copyright owners' rights to distribute the book in any way, and the book is no longer in print in any version with these covers
7. The article discusses this edition specifically and, hence, the article forms a commentary on the image while the image illustrates the subject under discussion.
8. The cover is being used for informational purposes only.
9. The Artist is not credited, no visible signature. This edition is out of print.
