English: IWM caption : Vertical aerial photograph taken during a night raid on Reggio di Calabria, Italy, by Vickers Wellingtons of No. 40 Squadron RAF based at Hani West, Tunisia. Smoke billows from explosion of a 4,000-lb HE bomb ('Cookie') on the railway station and road junction at the port.
