English: Douglas-Tulsa B-24H-10-DT Liberator

s/n 41-28678 755th Bomb Squadron, 458th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.

Aircraft was lost due to mechanical failure on the March 22,1944 mission to bomb the BMW engine factory at Basdorf outside Berlin,Germany. Eight of the crew became POW's and one was killed because he didn't have the right type of harness for his parachute and went down with the plane.
