"London 16, 5 pm. According to the Daily Mail, the fire in the city of Izmir is the work of an Armenian gang that had accumulated a large quantity of weapons and ammunition in the center of the city, and who, unable to escape justice, set fire to their deposits. 25 of the arsonists have already been arrested.

General Townshend, who arrived in Paris, has stated that Mustafa Kemal is favorable to the preliminaries of the Turkish-Greek peace."
