Apollo 15 Hasselblad image from film magazine 86/NN - EVA-1 & 2 This photo was used in figure 10-4 of the Apollo 15 Preliminary Science Report (NASA SP-289, 1972), which has the following caption: Solar-wind spectrometer experiment as viewed from the south prior to dust-cover removal. Shadowing patterns, especially on the surface of cup 3, give information about orientation of the deployed instrument.
