Description

SS Adrian Iselin, built in 1914 by Detroit Shipbuilding, Boland and Cornelius Company, then to Nicholson Transit on June 8, 1943 as war charter ship. 244 feet long and 2,072 gross tons, it was also built of riveted steel and powered by two Scotch fire tube boilers and a triple expansion steam engine of 1,000 horsepower. Sunk as breakwater at Kewaunee nuclear power plant in 1967.
