Arabic manuscript on cream-coloured paper, 190 leaves, first and last five leaves later replacement, 23 lines to the page written in a small neat naskhi script in black ink, significant sentences underlined in red throughout, catchwords in wide margins, extensive commentaries by Khafri added in the 16th Century, numerous diagrams drawn in red or black ink with identification written in black ink, edges damaged by rodents, some crude repairs, some waterstaining mostly restricted to outer margins, later brown morocco, slightly worn
