Source Halftone print from page 92 of 1923's "Boston Days of William Morris Hunt". The Hunt portrait of Allen Wardner was painted late in Wardner's life, and was the property of the Evarts family. Wardner's daughter Helen was the wife of US Attorney General, Secretary of State and Senator William M. Evarts.
