Português: Tecido, metal. Doação Eva Maria Augusta Boeckh Haesbish. Alemanha ou Estados Unidos, 1949-1950. Acervo Museu da Imigração. Esse tipo de jaqueta é conhecido pelo nome de “anorak”. A doadora adquiriu a mesma entre os anos de 1949 e 1950 na cidade de Heidelberg, na Alemanha, onde morava. Era uma jaqueta militar dos Estados Unidos, que possuiu tropas alojadas na cidade da mesma na época da Segunda Guerra Mundial. O casaco foi tingido e transformado em dois, que a doadora dividiu com uma amiga. Ela usou sua parte (forro) para viajar de sua cidade até Barcelona, usando uma bicicleta. Foi usado até os anos 1990 pela doadora.
English: Anorak jacket. Fabric, metal. Germany or United States, 1949-1950. Donor: Eva Maria Augusta Boeckh Haesbish. Collection of the Immigration Museum of São Paulo. This type of jacket is known as “anorak”. The donor acquired it between 1949 and 1950 in the city of Heidelberg, in Germany, where she lived. It was a military jacket from the United States, which had its troops quartered in her city during World War II. The jacket has been dyed and it has originated two other jackets, which the donor divided with a friend. She used hers (previously the lining part) to travel from her city to Barcelona, riding a bicycle. The donor used it until the 1990s.
