Summary[edit]

A promotional image for Day of Defeat: Source. A player, as an US Army machine gunner, surveys the Allied insertion point on the map "Anzio". The minimap in the top right shows the player's location in relation to their surroundings, while the insignia in the upper left denote which teams control the map's various strategic points. The HUD elements in the bottom left show the player's health, stamina, ammunition reserves and currently selected weapon.
