Description
English: Retired Lt. Gen. Arthur J. Gregg poses for a photograph in the ballroom of Lee Club at Fort Lee. Behind him on the right above the fireplace mantle once hung a painting of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. The club hosted Gregg’s retirement ceremony in 1981 but could not admit him when he became an officer in 1950.
