Summary

Description Spikelets are 4-6-flowered and 7-13 mm long. Glumes are unequal in length; the lower 5–7 mm long and upper 8-12 mm long. Lemmas are covered with long shaggy hairs on the back and 3-lobed; the midlobe tapers into a rigid bristle 4-14 mm long.
