English: Cult statue of Athena with the face of the type of Carpegna Athena. Pink alabaster (draping, aegis), basalt (hair, gorgoneion), Luna marble (gorgoneion, right foot) and plaster (face), late 1st century BC–early 1st century CE. From the Piazza dell' Emporio (Rome), 1923.
Français : Statue de culte d'Athéna, avec une tête du type d'Athéna Carpegna. Albâtre rose (drapement, égide), basalte (chevelure, gorgonéion), marbre de Luna (gorgonéion, pied droit) et stuc (tête), fin du Ier siècle av. J.-C.-début du Ier siècle ap. J.-C.
Italiano: Statua colossale di divinità seduta, dallo scavo per le fondamenta di un edificio in piazza dell'Emporio, rinvenuta nel 1923. Num. cat. 2. Rinvenuta acefala, la testa e il collo sono stati integrati con un calco in gesso dell'Atena Carpegna; anche l'emblema della Gorgone è di restauro; l'identificazione con Atena-Minerva è però malcerta.
