Summary
| Description |
English: Bar percussion bars (such as a xylophone's) are typically hung at around 2/9 of their length from either side to suppress the partials, bringing out the fundamental. This makes the sound less inharmonic, allowing conventional tunings and playing with instruments with harmonic spectra. |
