Ben Kuroki, WWII veteran serving primarily as a tail gunner in 58 combat missions aboard B-24's and B-29's in both the European and Pacific theaters. Ben Kuroki, WWII veteran serving primarily as a Top turret gunner in 58 combat missions aboard B-24's ([1] most notably in the circus the 93D BG during the Ploesti raids against the oilfieds in Romania in 1943) and B-29's in Pacific theaters. The only Japanese-American to participate in combat operations in the Pacific theater during WWII.
