English: This map shows the various surface features on Bennu with names approved by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). The asteroid’s surface features — such as craters, dorsa (peaks or ridges), fossae (grooves or trenches) and saxa (rocks and boulders) — are named after birds and bird-like creatures in mythology.
