Summary

Description
English: Black Horse I presume the farm is named after the plaque above the door.

The plaque above the door is the Upton Coat of Arms (Ingmire Hall). The house was originally a coaching inn and in 1829 the Killington shoemaker lived there.

References have been found dating the house to at least the early 17th century.
