Summary

Description
English: Brecon: the longest railway in the world These wooden forms recently installed by British Waterways beside the canal at Brecon commemorate the one-time 'longest railway in the world' which ran - of all places - from Brecon to Kington via Hay-on-Wye. It was actually two horse-drawn tramways whose combined length exceeded 36 miles and claimed the title between 1820 and 1837.
