Cape of Good Hope, 1855-8, 4d, deep blue/white paper. British Library Mosely collection. Copyright © 1997, The British Library Board. The photograph is not released into the public domain, however as the artwork dates from 1855-8 there is no applicable copyright for a faithful reproduction. As a courtesy, this image has been loaded under a fair use rationale rather than removing the BL logo and applying the {{PD-BritishGov}} template license.
