Summary

Description
English: British Trolleybuses - Maidstone Maidstone was the smallest trolleybus system to last into the 60s. There was a single basic route from Barming in the west to Sutton Road in the South.

This is a view at the Wheatsheaf junction on Sutton Road. The trolleybus is on its way to the Parkwood housing estate for which an extension to the route was built in the late 50s. Today the road layout is slightly altered - the roundabout has gone - but otherwise everything is much the same still.
