Description
English: Divers from the U.S. Navy and Republic of Singapore pack “C-4” explosive charges as part of exercises conducted during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2002. Divers from the auxiliary salvage ship USS Salvor (ARS 52), Mobile Diving Salvage Unit (MDSU) 1 and the Republic of Singapore Navy teamed up for multiple diving, explosive ordnance, and salvage training exercises during CARAT 2002. CARAT consists of a series of bilateral training exercises involving the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and several Asian countries.
