Description
English: OFF THE COAST OF SINGAPORE -- A Singaporean helicopter lands on USS RUSHMORE July 10 during a training exercise that is part of the seventh annual Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2001 exercise. CARAT, a series of bilateral exercises, takes place throughout the Western Pacific each summer. The exercise increases regional cooperation and promotes interoperability with participating nations. Military forces from Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Brunei are participating in CARAT 01
