Nederlands: Banier. Blauwe banier met Arabisch schrift in wit (kelengan: blauw en wit).
Het centrale motief stelt het tweepuntige zwaard Zulfikar (Dhu al-Fiqar) voor. Mohammed ontving dit magische zwaard van de aartsengel Gabriël en gaf het door aan zijn schoonzoon Ali. Het zwaard is afgebeeld met twee puntige uiteinden om het magische karakter van het zwaard te benadrukken (EI vol. II, p. 233). Tussen beide bladen staat een rij cijfers mogelijk een chronogram. De zoomorphe calligrafie stelt een tijger Ali voor. Dit is een verwijzing naar een van de titels van Ali, "De zegevierende leeuw van de Heer". Aangezien de leeuw in bijna geheel Zuidoost Azie onbekend is werd deze getransformeerd tot een tijger (macan). De tekst waaruit de drie tijgers zijn opgebouwd luidt: "er bestaat geen kracht en macht, behalve met Gods wil, de grootste en machtigste". De kleuren wit en zwart (donkerblauw) verdrijven kwade krachten. Documentatie Daan van Dartel Bijgewerkt door Pim Westerkamp, 8 mei 2008 De zoömorf kalligrafie stelt Ali als leeuw voor en verwijst naar zijn titel: "de leeuw van God". Dus is het dier een leeuw. Het uiterlijk is mogelijk ontleend aan de Chinese leeuw. In Cirebon was een Chinese gemeenschap. In de ogen van de grote leeuw en in de stermotieven is de naam van God (Allah) te lezen.
