English: Cathcart House - corner of Raglan Street See photograph of plaque near front door. It was designed by Henry Edwin Bown, and built in 1870 as the manse for the West Park United Reformed Church, Harrogate. It soon became Cathcart House, a boarding house which around 1900 entertained Princess Alix of Hesse (d.1917), who became Czarina of Russia.
