Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of a cefotaxime molecule, C16H17N5O7S2. Hydrogen atoms positions have been estimated using molecular mechanics. The model is based on PDB entry 6C79, the crystal structure of a class A beta lactamase in complex with cefotaxime. The structure was reported in ACS Catal. (2018) 8, 2428–2437.

Colour code:

Carbon, C: grey
Hydrogen, H: white
Nitrogen, N: blue
Oxygen, O: red
Sulfur, S: yellow
Model manipulated in Avogadro 1.2 and image generated in CCDC Mercury 3.8.
