Summary

Description
English: The Château de Crans in Crans-près-Céligny on a vineyard overlooking Lake Geneva near Nyon in Switzerland. In the 19th century it was inherited by Alexandre van Berchem (1836-1872) from his maternal family side of Saladin. It was the home of the epigraphist and historian Max van Berchem (1863-1921).
