This glamorous scene is the front cover of a beautiful colour illustrated sales catalogue for Chevrolet which was assembled locally by the General Motors factory in Petone, opened in 1926.
The milestone of 1000 vehicles was reached after eight months, and by 1929, 12,000 vehicles had been assembled.
