Summary

Description
English: Clapper gate on the Trent I've not seen this curious type of double gate before, and it was only later that I learnt (British Waterways noticeboard) that it is a style of gate unique to the Trent. About 70 of these 'Clapper' gates - many restored - exist between Nottingham and Gainsborough.
