| Description |
English: Tropical Cyclone Victor was a redevelopment of the residual low pressure are which had been Tropical Cyclone Katrina in January. The residual low pressure area which was to become Victor passed over the northern coast of Australia and into the Indian Ocean were it strengthened to a tropical cyclone attaining a peak intensity of 75 kt on February 13, 1998. On February 19, 1998 Victor a minimal cyclone in the South Indian Ocean passed into the Mauritius/La Reunion area and was renamed Cindy. |
