Summary

Description
English: View north along the Durham Coast Line. The the platforms of Seaham Hall Dene railway station were located in the centre of the image (on either side of the tracks) whilst the building in the right of the image was the main station building. The photograph is taken from Hall Dene Level Crossing which carries Lord Byron's Walk over the line, looking towards Ryhope.


Seaham Hall Dene railway station was a private station built to serve Seaham Hall, the then home of the Marquess of Londonderry. It closed in 1923.
