Description
English: A Chinese Eastern Wu (229-280 AD) green-glaze ceramic jar with human figures, birds, and architecture. Granuary jar (soul urn), clay. Unearthed in 1955 from a Wu tomb in Zhaotugang, Jiangsu Province. Three Kingdoms period. H. 34.3 cm. Nanjing Museum

Français : Jarre (urne funéraire) à couvercle, en céramique à glaçure verte. H. 34,3 cm. Décor en forme de grenier à quatre portes. Figurines de personnages et, sur le toit, des oiseaux et quatre urnes ouvertes. Sur la panse, reliefs à décor moulé : personnages, animaux hybrides et masques taotie (?) avec des anneaux. Royaume de Wu, Sud-Est de la Chine (222-280). Période des Trois Royaumes. Nanjing Museum.
