Summary

Description Empower Centre Havant (formerly Leigh Park Methodist Church), Botley Drive, Leigh Park, Hampshire, England. Compensation received from the War Damage Commission for the destruction of Stamford Street Methodist Church in Portsmouth (built in 1861 as a Bible Christian chapel, bombed and destroyed 18 February 1941) was used to build this church. It is no longer a Methodist church but has been acquired by Family Church, a multi-site non-denominational group operational in the Portsmouth and southeast Hampshire area.
