English: Still from a film made by Gabriel Veyre, in French Indochina (current Vietnam), between April 1899 and March 1900. It depicts two women (wife and daughter of Governor-General Paul Doumer) throwing small coins in front of Annamite children. Item number 1274 in the Lumière film catalog.
Français : Extrait d'un film tourné par Gabriel Veyre en Indochine française (aujourd'hui Viêt Nam), entre le 28 avril 1899 et le 2 mars 1900. Les deux femmes sont l'épouse et la fille du gouverneur-général Paul Doumer. Ce film fut projeté le 20 janvier 1901 à Lyon (France) sous le titre "Indo-Chine : enfants annamites ramassant des sapèques devant la pagode des dames" (source: Le Progrès, 21 janvier 1901). Vue mise en vente dans le Catalogue Lumière sous le numéro 1274.
