Summary

Description
English: One set of the turbine engines of the destroyer HMS Viper (launched 1899). The engraving shows a low-pressure turbine and reversing engine on one shaft, and a high pressure engine on the other. A like set of turbines was installed on the other side of the ship, the vessel thus having four turbines, all independent of one another.
