Blasonamiento Escudo cuarteado en cruz que presenta en el 1º cuarto superior derecho sobre campo de oro, rama de Acebo de cuatro hojas en su color (sinople) con su fruto o bayas en gules, aludiendo con ello al nombre del pueblo. En el 4º cuarto del lado inferior izquierdo sobre campo de plata, la cruz espada de la Orden de Santiago en gules. Las Armas del 2º y 3º cuarto son propias del Mayorazgo de Gaspar Ramírez de Vargas, primer señor que de la villa de El Acebrón y son como siguen: En el 2º cuarto, superior izquierdo: de gules un castillo de piedra sobre ondas de azur, acompañado de dos cabezas de sierpe de oro, una a cada lado del castillo. En el 3º cuarto, lado inferior derecho: cortado de sinople con un puente sobre el agua, sumado de dos torres, una almenada con una bandera de plata cruzada de gules y la otra sin almenas y con una escalera apoyada a sus muros. En el punto centro, corazón o abismo del escudo en campo de plata las siete coronas de los condes que murieron en el campo de Sicuendes, paraje situado entre los términos del Acebrón y Torrubia del Campo, donde se diera la mítica batalla medieval.
