Summary

Description A U.S. Marine Corps Douglas F3D-2 Skyknight fighter of Marine all-weather fighter squadron VMF(AW)-531 in late 1957. The plane was the personal plane of the squadron commander LtCol. Gordon E. Gray. Note that the F3D's replacement, the Douglas F4D-1 Skyray is visible in the background.
