Barretto Street, west side, between Lafayette and Garrison Aves., showing the Faile Mansion on the former estate of Edward G. Faile. It was built in 1832. The G.W. Bromley map of 1923 as revised to September 1932 shows the site of the mansion to be occupied by two 1-story iron structures of the American Bank Note Company.
